Recently I’ve discovered the new camping phenomenon… Luxury Camping!  Also known as “Glamping” the new coined phrase for “Glamorous Camping” or even “Boutique Camping”.

What better way than to get back to nature in style and luxury, while retaining all the charms of camping.  Goodbye soggy tent lining and wet sleeping bags.  Hello luxurious surroundings!

There is a lot of creativity surrounding this new trend in luxury camping including many with retreat type settings with all those good classic retreaty type things like massage, yoga and organic food to go with.  What could be better?  Returning to nature in luxury!

Of course this fits in perfectly with the global economic situation. So for the people who are strapped for cash this still gives the opportunity of a holiday but without all the major costs that usually come with a holiday.

Not only that but many luxury camping sites are quite green as well, which fits in perfectly for the green and environmentally conscious traveller.

I’ve decided to research all I can about this glorious new trend and report to all!
